Field Recording Collection

Australia

These field recordings, taken during a visit to Australia in December 2019, include the sounds of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and Coogee.

Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park is a protected area to the north of Sydney covering 149.8 km². In the recordings taken from there, one can hear birds and insects in the bush. There is also a recording from Gordons Bay in Coogee, a suburb of Sydney, where a light breeze can be heard from the shade of a tree on the coastal walk.
